Santa Fe Film Festival to screen ‘Shadow’

Iranian short film ‘Shadow’ is slated to vie at the 2022 Santa Fe Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Farzin Taheri, the film is among Iran representatives at the 2022 edition of the festival.

It narrates the story of a lonely elderly man who has no motivation to continue living and thinks of suicide; however some strange things happen in his house that dissuade him from his decision.

Farrokh Nemati, Khorshid Cheraghi and Sepehr Mahmooudi, star in the film.

The Santa Fe Film Festival is an annual event that “honors everyone working both on and off screen to bring the best of film creation, production and showings to the public”, the website of the event reads.

It “focuses on bringing together distinguished industry specialists and all movie lovers” through accessible screenings, panels, and workshops.

The 22nd edition of the Santa Fe Film Festival will take place on February 3-13, 2022.
